The Boys’ Varsity Bowling team delivered a standout performance Tuesday at the Kansas 5A Regional Championships in Topeka, capturing the regional title with a dominant combined team and Baker score of 2417.
Their total was highlighted by an exceptional 300-point Baker game, propelling the team to the top of the standings.
Team members Sean Graham, Dalton Springer, Luke Swanson, Luke Espe, Curtis Jones, and Jacob Mall contributed to the victory. Two boys earned individual regional medals:
- Sean Graham, 4th place (661)
- Dalton Springer, 8th place (628)
On the girls’ side, the Varsity squad also delivered a strong showing, finishing with a combined 2345 team/Baker score. The team included Avery Lovegren, Allee Fagan, April Wills, Reese Moss, and Quinn Parker.
The highlight of the girls’ competition came from Avery Lovegren, who claimed the 5A Girls’ Varsity Regional Individual Championship with an impressive score of 621.
Both teams will advance to the Kansas 5A State Championship on March 5 in Wichita, where they look to continue their momentum on the lanes.
