ACA Basketball Celebrates CAA All-Region Honors

Arrowhead Christian is proud to congratulate its student-athletes who earned CAA All-Region recognition for their outstanding performances this season. These honors reflect not only impressive statistics, but also the work ethic and consistency that define ACA basketball.

On the varsity girls’ side, ACA was well represented in the CAA All-Region Division 1 Cactus Region.

Leah Rubio earned First Team All-Region honors after a standout season, averaging 16.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 5.8 steals per game. Her ability to impact every aspect of the game made her one of the most complete players in the region. Leah finished the season with 293 points (in 19 games) this season. She also hit a huge milestone, surpassing 500 career points. She now has 681 career points at ACA, making her the leading scorer in ACA girls’ basketball history.

Joining her on the First Team was Anna Bright, who averaged 7.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game, providing steady leadership, toughness, and consistency throughout the season.

Megan Bright was named Honorable Mention All-Region, recognized for her effort, versatility, and blue-collar approach that helped anchor the team all year.

The Lady Eagles also took home the Cactus Region championship this season, finishing a perfect 10-0 in region play. This was their third region championship overall and first since 2016.

On the varsity boys’ side, ACA athletes earned recognition in the CAA All-Region Division 1 Desert Region.

Tristin McLaughlin was named First Team All-Region after a dominant season, posting 18.6 points, 15.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 3.6 steals per game, showcasing his ability to control the game on both ends of the floor. Tristin also finished the season with 335 points (in 18 games) this season. He also hit the 500 point milestone, finishing the season with 514 career points at ACA, making him the third leading scorer in ACA boys’ basketball history.

Also earning First Team honors was Joshua Eberhardt, who averaged 10.5 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game, making a major impact in the paint.

Daniel Torres received Honorable Mention All-Region, recognized for his contributions and consistent play throughout the season.

These accolades are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and team-first mentality that ACA basketball prides itself on. Congratulations to all our All-Region athletes on a well-earned honor and an outstanding season.
