The 2025 fall sports season at De Soto High School was filled with passion, perseverance, outstanding performances, and unforgettable moments that brought the Wildcat community together. From the roar of Friday night football games to the precision and focus on the tennis courts and golf greens, every team demonstrated the dedication and spirit that define DHS athletics. The volleyball team finished with their best record since 2020, boys soccer made it to the state tournament for the first time in a decade, and XC continued a traditional of excellence bringing home a state trophy in addition to their 6th consecutive UKC title. Unified bowling continued to foster inclusion and camaraderie, while cheer and dance kept Wildcat pride soaring at every event and earned state medals of their own at the KSHSAA Gameday competition. This season wasn’t just about winning—it was about teamwork, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence across all programs.
