Iron Eagle Spotlight: Neiah Najera Named Athlete of the Week
Maricopa Institute of Technology proudly recognizes senior cheerleader Neiah Najera as this week’s Athlete of the Week for her leadership, dedication, and impact on the Iron Eagles Cheer team.
As a flyer, Neiah continues to push herself to improve and perform with focus and determination. Her consistency and commitment during stunts make her a key part of the team’s success.
Neiah’s leadership is felt both on and off the mat. Her teammates look up to her not only as a captain but also as a mentor. She takes the time to teach, correct, and support her teammates, helping them improve their dances and routines while encouraging them to give their best effort.
Her excellence isn’t limited to athletics. Neiah has perfect attendance, is passing all of her classes, and recently joined HHS, showing her ability to balance academics and extracurricular involvement with pride.
