The Union Knights Girls Basketball team hosted the South Tama Trojans this past Monday (1/29) at Union High School. The Knights were ready to attack from the opening tip and quickly jumped to a 15-3 lead by the end of the first quarter. That lead expanded to 15-points by halftime, before the Knights put away the Trojans by a final score of 47-25.

The Knights offensive attack was led by Senior Ava Mills, who scored 24-points. Brigitte Rohrer added on another 10-points for the Knights. Sophomore Reagan Glenn secured 11 rebounds for the Knights, as did Mills, while Rohrer added on 8 of her own. Mills finished with a double-double for the Knights.

Both Mills and Rohrer were recognized on Senior Night as well. Reagan Sorensen, also a Senior, missed the game with an illness. She will be recognized at the next home game this Friday (2/2). Thank you to our Seniors for their dedication to the Union Knights Girls Basketball program!
