The grass is green, the rain has stopped. The Governor has made way for Baseball and Softball to take place.
Beginning Monday, June 15th the Wapello Indians will take the field at Mediapolis as they take on the Bulldogs in a JV/Varsity double header beginning at 5:30.
Patrons to the game, please keep a few things in mind.
1.) there will not be concessions stand available at any location. At Wapello games you are allowed to bring your own (non-alcoholic) drinks and snack. Please be mindful to clean up your area before you leave.
2.) At Wapello, there will be sections along the fence marked off in 12 foot sections, six feet apart. We ask that only family units sit in close proximity, and you adhere to all social distancing guidelines and procedures (as much as possible).
New this year, you will be able to reserve your spot around the field. We will also allow golf carts and side-by-side UTV's to park along the fence line. However, if it has lights we ask that you park backwards. This will ensure your lights do not distract or interfere with play in any way. More information on reserving these spots will come shortly.
While the boys are away at Mediapolis, the girls will host the Bullettes. Also a 5:30 start with JV, followed by Varsity. If you can't make it to Mediapolis, come out to the ball park to watch the softball team play.
